Named after the foundation year of Saint David’s College, this is a busy lively café, situated next to the Lloyd Thomas Hall. There are patio doors leading on to the terraced area outside with plenty of seating inside and out. You can enjoy a freshly brewed Starbucks, Fairtrade Coffee or choose from a range of frappaccinos, teas and various hot and cold beverages. We serve freshly made baguettes, paninis, homemade soups, a roast dinner each day along with a chef’s special. We also offer a range of snacks such as Fairtrade flapjacks, muffins, cookies and homemade cakes. The café is equipped with Wi-fi connections and plenty of power sockets for you to surf the net while you enjoy some well needed grub.
Lloyd Thomas is where you will find our well established Sunday Carvery. Starting from March 1st 2015, our All you can eat Sunday Carvery is a popular attraction in the University, served between 12pm and 2pm. “1 serving of meat, the rest all you can eat!” We have a choice of three meats, and vegetarian options, all served with seasonal vegetables. There is also always a homemade pudding available for those of you with a sweet tooth! All produce is cooked on the premises and locally sourced, and it really is fantastic value for money – £7.50 for 1 course or £9.95 for 2 courses.
There is a warm welcome for everyone in the Tipyn Bach, well known for its quality home produced burgers, tasty hot wraps, and freshly cooked pizzas made to order, all very competitively priced.
